About building integrations with Maxsight
An integration means the data or technology product is available in Maxsight through a service that has been built according to the Maxsight partner API requirements. This integration allows Maxsight and the partner product to communicate, and that the data be used in Maxsight. The integration is the communication layer between Maxsight and the partner product.
Maxsight sends requests to these integrations containing the customer data required to run a check. The integration receives these requests, can process the data through the data provider product or service, and then send a response back.
Building an integration requires developing and hosting a REST API that can accept requests from Maxsight at pre-determined endpoints and provide responses in a specific format.

Maxsight has been developed in a way that data or technology providers can self-integrate with little to no intervention from our Engineering team.
