About Grid system integration options
Moody's offers the following integration methods to transmit and receive risk-relevant Grid data:
Web interface: Through the Grid web interface, you can submit individual or bulk inquiries and view results online. This is a convenient option for quick, auditable name screening, and portfolio updates.
GridSFTP Integration: This is a system-to-system integration that is secured using encryption and SFTP file transfer. Inquiries are submitted in a proprietary PSV or XML format. This asynchronous option supports one to 100,000 inquiries per file, and is ideal for automating batch file transmissions according to scheduling or triggers.
Grid API Integration: This method offers the fastest integration with Grid risk processing solutions. Connect and communicate with Grid to receive quick responses to inquiry submissions, schedule batch file transmissions, and create triggers to generate and send batch inquiries.
Grid Data Feed integration: The Grid Data Feed is a data-only subscription service that supports up to millions of records per delivery. For organizations that require portfolio screening, matching, and decisioning to occur behind their own firewall, Gridpublishes daily and monthly extract files for SFTP import. This solution supports an XML file format and offers multiple data packages.
Both the web interface and SFTP batch methods have the option to receive results in either XML or PSV format. You can also receive Batch email notifications from Grid that include match alerts and inquiry notifications.
