Manage Grid Reporting users
Grid Reporting follows Maxsight's user management standards and procedures.
To manage users, you must have the Read and write option for the Manage users permission. If you can’t see the User management tab and you think that you should, contact the administrator of your account.
To manage Grid Reporting users in Maxsight:
Depending on your location, go to eu.maxsight.com or us.maxsight.com and log in with your username and password.
Select the
tab.Follow the steps to create roles that define the Grid Reporting permissions appropriate for your users.
Follow the steps to add users to Maxsight and assign one or more of the Grid Reporting roles you created.
Once users are active in Grid Reporting, you can deactivate and reactivate users and reset user passwords.
Grid Reporting user permissions
The Grid View Reports and Firms permissions are specific to Grid Reporting. User management permissions follow Maxsight's standard user management model.
Reports
Reports permissions determine whether the user can view dashboards and export data. Users must also have Firms permissions in order to view and/or export firm data.

Firms
Firms permissions define the firm data to include in the users' dashboards and/or exports. Users must also have Reports permissions to access dashboards and/or export data for firms.

Manage users
Manage users permissions provide visibility into user accounts and can be used to create new Grid Reporting administrators. See Maxsight user management permissions for more information on the access included in these permissions.
