Smart policies

The rules that determine the configuration of data providers, checks, tasks, and assessments for your organization, as well as the workflows that entities follow during each assessment.

The workflow assigned to an assessment determines which onboarding tasks are required for the entity during the assessment process, for example, verify an individual’s identity.

Workflows can be configured to automatically pass assessments on entities that have passed all onboarding tasks. If you have assigned a risk model to an assessment, workflows can also automatically fail assessments at or above a specified risk level.

Workflows are specific to entity type, either individual or company, meaning that a workflow is always applied to either individual entities or company entities.
