About check types

A check type is a configuration option that specifies what data and in what format the integration must provide in its response to Maxsight. It also determines what features are available in terms of what data is displayed and how it's used across Maxsight.

The check type also defines the completion deadline of a check. This is how long Maxsight keeps trying to get a completed response from the integration before concluding that the check has failed.

Partners can currently only build integrations with check types that are supported by the partner API integration framework.
